There are several different ways to treat a fatty liver. One option is to eat a healthy diet and exercise regularly. Another option is to take medication. In addition, there are other options available such as surgery, transplantation, or even dietary supplements.
For a healthy diet you would need to reduce eating carbs such as breads, chips, fast food, fried food, pasta, sweets, and alcohol. As per Dr. Sandra Cabot states in her book “Fatty Liver You Can Reverse It.” You can eat salads, fruit, fish, and poultry. And drink lots of water, you can also drink freshly made juices and smoothies. You should avoid table sugar, foods with added sugar, maltodextrin, polydextrose, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, molasses, preserves made with sugar, candy, pastries and chocolate. If you have a fatty liver, you can eat dark chocolate the higher percentage of cocoa the better.
Preventing a Fatty Liver.
The best way to prevent a fatty liver is to monitor your cholesterol levels, exercise regularly. Eat a balanced diet with fresh fruit and vegetables. If you eat a lot of fast food or processed food, doing a liver detox regularly and drinking 48 oz. of pure water daily will help you reduce your chances of developing a fatty liver.
