Colloidal Silver is a mixture of silver micro-particles suspended in a water solution. And can be used externally on skin or taken internally. Colloidal silver can vary in quality, strength and form. It comes in spray, gel and liquid. From 10ppm (part per million) to 500 ppm.
How Does It Work?
Colloidal silver has antibiotic properties. Historically, silver has been used to treat infections. When it is near a virus or pathogen the silver disables its oxygen metabolism enzyme causing the virus or pathogen to suffocate and die. Bacteria can not develop resistance to colloidal silver that is why it has a strong bactericidal effect.

Colloidal silver has been used for thousands of years to prevent and heal disease. The ancient Romans and Greeks used silver containers to preserve food and water. In the 1800 before refrigeration was invented people would drop silver coins in vessels with milk to keep it fresh longer. Silver vessels were made to store water, milk, and wine. In modern medicine Larry C. Ford the MD of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology from UCLA school of medicine, found that colloidal silver kills more than 650 bacteria, fungi, molds and parasites that can cause disease.

If taken long-term high dosages have been known to cause a condition of gray to bluish-gray skin. However, I have been taking 10ppm of colloidal silver for over 12yrs. And my skin has not turned gray. Please keep in mind high dosages to me are 100ppm -500ppm.
