You might not realize it, but there are ways to manage stress at work. One of the easiest ways to reduce stress is by focusing on the positive. Instead of thinking about what went wrong, think about what went well. This helps you refocus on the task at hand and gives you more energy to complete it.

Another way to manage stress is to take breaks throughout the day. Taking short breaks will help you relax and recharge. It also allows you to focus on other tasks without being distracted by negative thoughts.

Essential Oils for Stress Relief

The most popular oil that you have heard of is lavender for stress relief and relaxation. But that is only one out of a handful. Other essential oils you can use are chamomile, valerian, bergamot, clary sage, marjoram, and frankincense are some of them.

You can add 8 to 10 drops total of each lavender, marjoram and clary sage to a warm evening bath to help relieve restlessness and nervous tension.

You can also add to your diffuser 2 drops of lavender 2 drops of frankincense. To help set a relaxing atmosphere in your bedroom.

Setting up a schedule for exercise can also be helpful in reducing stress. A walk after eating dinner helps digest your food and getting fresh air can help you clear your mind.

Nutrition

Making sure you are eating foods with adequate amounts of vitamins and minerals is also important. If your body is in need of magnesium, potassium, iron, copper or vitamins B6 and B3. Your body will not be able to deal with stress as well. Avoid eating processed foods and food containing chemical additives.
